2017 Golf R vs 2017 Golf Alltrack Standard Features
The Golf R and the Golf Alltrack look similar, but have a variety of differences when it comes to performance and capability. The Golf R's four-cylinder engine puts down nearly 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the most fun-to-drive vehicles available from VW. The Golf Alltrack might not have quite as much horsepower and torque, but the higher ground clearance and standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive makes it a vehicle that is capable of handling tougher terrain and rough road conditions with more confidence.
When it comes to interior features, both vehicles have quite a bit to offer. Standard features for both the Golf R and Golf Alltrack include an eight-speaker audio system, steering wheel mounted audio controls, Bluetooth compatibility and heated front seats. Both Golf models feature seating for up to five passengers. The Golf R has leather seating trim and the Alltrack's seating is V-Tex Leatherette, both options giving the interior a classy and luxurious appearance. The appeal of Volkswagen models comes in the form of simplistic design and no-nonsense style that stands out from the competition.
