The 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system is designed to adapt to the terrain and send torque to the appropriate axle. When conditions are typical, the front wheels have the power, but when necessary the system adjusts and sends the power to the rear wheels. This power transfer helps maintain traction and gives the Alltrack improved directional stability. The power shift happens automatically allowing you to focus on driving. The 4MOTION system is available with both the automatic transmission and the six-speed manual transmission. For quick shifting ability, the Alltrack offers the option of having paddle shifters on the steering wheel which give you the ability to shift right at your fingertips. Off-Road Mode and Hill Descent Control features work together to help you control your car on a steep incline. Off-Road Mode is designed to help you maintain traction on a variety of surfaces. When you have Off-Road Mode engaged, the Hill Descent Control feature helps you maintain a controlled speed as you travel downhill by actively helping you to appropriately apply your brakes. The Golf Alltrack is equipped with a 1.8 TSI turbocharged engine that is designed to provide performance even on gravel.

We live in an app driven world. The Golf Alltrack allows you to use your compatible smartphone to access your apps through the touchscreen display of the car. The Alltrack has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability available. An available 400 watt Fender Audio System combined with available Sirius XM radio allows you to enjoy the soundtrack of your life while on the road. The available eight inch touchscreen uses a proximity sensor as well as voice controls to help you control your sound system. VW Car-Net is available with features like navigation including traffic reports, weather information and sports scores. VW Car-Net also offers security features that will alert you if your car is unlocked or the door or trunk is left open. You can use the VW Car-Net mobile app to lock your car if necessary. If you leave your sunroof open, the Car-Net feature will warn you of the possibility of rain, so you can close the sunroof. The Parking Information feature helps you find off-street parking and sends the information to the in-vehicle navigation system. Dual-zone automatic climate control allows the driver and the front passenger to choose the temperature that makes them feel comfortable. The Alltrack offers keyless access to allow you to unlock the car with the key fob in your pocket or purse, and a push of the button starts the car as long as the fob is in the car. An available digital three gauge monitor lets you customize the display to monitor the off-road features you value most.
